Pilates Suspension Training

The Bodhi Suspension System® is a dynamic, whole-body suspension system that challenges core strength, balance, flexibility and proprioception.  We offer specific Pilates Suspension Training classes on the Bodhi Suspension System® because it is the perfect complement to your Pilates and personal training practice.  The suspension system offers four potential points of suspension to maximize stability training.  The cutting edge four- point suspension offers endless possibilities to improve your balance, increase proprioception and develop whole body strength.

The suspension system brings the precision and movement principles of Pilates to suspension training.  It stimulates the intrinsic muscles necessary for stabilization and support of the body’s joints.  The ropes are a game changer, so to speak, for your body and all levels will find a suitable challenge.   The suspension system takes the body out of alignment with gravity which fires the core stability muscles and develops integrated, whole-body strength and dynamic flexibility.

Our Pilates Suspension Training classes are the ideal complement to your exercise practice.  These innovative classes challenge every core muscle and promote increased balance, muscle tone and endurance without taxing the joints.  This suspension system includes two independent ropes, which create four suspension points. This allows for endless opportunities to suspend the body.  Each point adds strength, flexibility, balance and proprioceptive challenges.  Initially, you will learn how to use the ropes relying on two points of suspension, wherein we focus on stretch, controlled strength and balance.  As you progress, the pace of class increases and we add additional choreography with quick transitions as we begin to utilize three and four points of suspension.   These classes stimulate stability, mobility and proper alignment of the entire body.  These classes will lift you and your spirit off the floor.   Awaken your mental and physical strength and excite your bodies, try Pilates Suspension Training today!
